Hi, i am composing complicated rock style composition on LMMS. I need to get the electric different types guitar sound which could be smooth playing and like in real guitar-make smooth transitions from higher note to lower, make a virtuous play. Using just sf2 banks does not help, they sounds so stable, each note is sounds sharp and similar, even if i try the reverberation, or play with volume on the beginning and end of note. Is there some filter, which could help to fix that in exact part of a track i need, to make it sounds real guitar, not a fake?I also using guitar plugins, but it just gives a tone, not the effect of real play. Other instruments is more easy to fix. But the guitar is very naughty in that. Please help!

Try the TripleOscillator preset 'SEGuitar.xpf'. How does it compare to what you want?

are you refering to finger-play style , like in metal-rock?
The folder 'Guitar' in zynAddSubFX has a couple of presets you could look at, try setting PORT active on the lmms GUI, that will make the notes 'slide' continously (PORTamento)
But -First of, getting perfect guitar in a DAV is really difficult, and will properly not be posible without a VST plugin, and perhaps even one you have to pay for
You could listen to Slayer from image-line (FL-sludio)
But heres a search from KVR

Hi. You could try DSK Music's Electrik GuitarZ Vst. But it takes 15 secs to load. According to the LMMS Vst's Wiki. I haven't tried it yet though. But maybe it may help you
