LMMS "forgets" name of VST effects

When adding a VST effect to the Effects Chain of the FX Mixer, the name of the effect is correctly displayed in the Effects Rack. However, after saving and reloading the project, the name of the effect is replaced with "VST Effect", which is rather inconvenient if there is more than one "effect". Pressing the "Controls" button opens another window where the "effect" name is displayed correctly.
This is on Fedora 16 and LMMS 0.4.13. Is there the same behaviour in WIndows?

i can confirm that in WinXP this is also the case.
Have you made sure that the actual controls settings is kept in the saved posistion?
For several VSTs effects the knobs reverts to their initial settings when a project is reloaded (WinXP + 0.4.13).
The behaviour of VSts effects is also different if they are on preset FX tabs in respect to the FX-mixers effect-chain

OK, so this is a generic bug then.

For a number of VSTs the settings are also saved eg. the Melda Production VSTs. For others you have to save the settings in a preset and reload them when the project has been loaded...
I have also noticed that the behaviour of the VST effects is different depending on were you insert them. If you insert them on the preset FX tab and close the preset window, the VST effect window rendering is lost. For that reason I only use them on th FX-mixers' effect chain, because I never close it...
