Opening every plugin GUI on project loadup

How can I prevent LMMS to open every Plugin GUI the project uses when I open the project file?
It is really annoying to wait for every single GUI to pop up, and to close them one by one, to be able to see the rest of the project.

Wow! That's a pretty "interesting" yet "annoying," "glitch," you got there. :o

Did you originally save the "project file," with the Plugin Gui's open?
What OS/Operating system, are you using?

Try this,............. go to where your projects are "saved," and make a duplicate of the original project file. Then open it. See if that works.

Or...you probably did this already,...............open your project file, close all Plugin Guis and "immediately save." Then close project file and reopen it.

I hope that works. If not, come back as others will try to help you with this problem.

Hello, thanks for the reply!
I'm on Ubuntu 12.10, 32bit, using the latest LMMS.
I have saved the file with the plugins closed, yet every plugin pops up when I open the project. I have to wait like a minute before I can touch the project, because the little penguin keeps telling me on the lower left corner to wait until every plugin opens.

Sometimes when I open a plugin there is no Window bar on top, no way to close it, minimize it. Then I have to save the whole project and open it again. Really annoying, but I can't complain, i haven't payed for the software :)

Don't worry I didn't forget you deviques.
I don't know what else to tell you , to solve that problem, you're having. Probably because I'm on Windows 7. :(

I just hope you got through.

Stay on the forums a bit longer, someone else, may have a solution to your problem.

We have alot of "Linux and Ubuntu users" here, on the Lmms Forum.
