hey, i'm kinda new to linux and programming and all... i have no idea how to do this, so maybe one of u can..:-P

would it be possible to make a web browser window for LMMS? possibly a sample installer? (to put sound files in the right directory after download so they show up in the right folder in Lmms automatically)

and Virtual HDD support >.<
like windows skydrive, ubuntu one, google disk, icould, etc..

so we get an option to save file on computer or online if we quit without saving.
store all your samples and finished products Online and download em on Any pc!

some web sites only let you download one sample at a time, so u need to find the sample you need one at a time, or download a bunch of sounds and hope you got he right one, then u need to look through like 5000 files to find it..
(or search, i know... but i'm making a point! x-)

with a buildt in web browser it'll be easier to download new samples, and only the sample you'r looking for (1sec download time) from sweb sites like Freesound.
if you download only the samples you are looking for, you'll only end up with like 30-40Gb.. MAX 100Gb, but i doubt that lool

and, technically, with an web browser u have the same storage sapce as all the sample servers together

it'll also be easier to find tutorial videos for beginners (like myself) and easier to download plugins

try the portableapps version
http://portableapps.com/node/18823
it's a beta, but it works perfectly, and all portableapps work on cloud storage
