although the beat/bassline editor is capable of making complex drum patterns,using the internal drum sounds and also samples,.. i think a stand-alone drumbox/drum-machine plugin based on (but obviously not copying) the roland tr909 would improve LMMS ,similar to the one in ReBirth rb-338 2.0 (freeware)... the homepage can be found at http://www.rebirthmuseum.com/

i believe this would be a welcomed plugin by both new and present users.

A lot of people, including me, asked for a perc/drum synth, bu for some reason, they didnt put it in the roadmap. Weird, right? BTW your comment's a geezer
