Time signature per track or beat ?

The Beat/Bassline editor is great because it does automatic looping but AFAICS only in full bars/measures. I regularly play different time signatures against one another...like one beat is in 4/4 and another in 5/4 or 7/4 (African/Arabic influences). I can do it with normal instrument tracks by just ignoring the bar lines and putting notes where I want them but then I lose the useful ability to loop, I have to keep doing copy/paste to extend.

So this may be a silly question but is the time sig always global for the whole song or is there some way I haven't spotted yet that I can set up tracks/beat+basslines with different time sigs in one song ?

I realise there are probably very few people wanting to do this, but I thought I'd ask .

But i can see your idea-
If you make a detailed description of the usecase in "suggestions" or a ticket on hub, it could be considered. But i also think it will be difficult to implement :/
