C is the scale using all the white keys on a piano. The number after C is the range: 0 the lowest, 1 an octave higher, 2 an octave higher, etc. There are twelve semi-tones between octaves. Each little square in piano roll (moving up and down) is a semi tone. Do re mi fa so... is a sequence of 1, 1,1/2 ,1,1,1, 1/2 tones.

If you want to translate these notes: they are C, D, E, F, G, A, H, C

You could alway start with some basic music theory http://www.8notes.com/theory/ It is just looks a little bit different in LMMS.
