vst c64 not work with lmms help my please thanks
First i like you to read the chapter about using vst in lmms
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Working_with_VSTs
then, download a vst that has been confirmed as working with lmms, and there i recommend Synth1 or MDA-piano
Test again
After you have tried this, and you still cant use vst, then:
please post your:
* OS (+service-pack-ver)
* lmms vers
* hardware specification (ram & soundcard is the most important)
* lmms sound device chosen
temoin-de-yehovah wrote:my complete config pc:
You have an excellent pc. so you ought to be able to use lmms with NO problems at all.

Because of that, i suspect that you have placed your vst.dlls in a different folder, than the one you have chosen in setup:
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=LM ... ings#Paths
The path you have here should be to the folder with the vst dlls
* Is that the case?

Can lmms play at all?
Load the demo-project
\projects\demos\Skiessi \Skiessi-Onion.mmpz
Play it.
Does it play and sound fine?
temoin-de-yehovah wrote: folder is correct path,
..strange
do You load the VST dll in a Vestige container?
-Exactly as described?

Show us
* the exact path where you have the mda-piano.dll
* a screenshot of your path settings
* create a new project with mda-piano in it, and upload the project here
http://www.tinyupload.com/
* post the link to the project
Ok, it the iso-char error.
You cant use ascii-charachters in any path or folder-name in your lmms installation, so chars like é or any kind of umlaut-letters, are not to be used anywhere in your lmms installation at all

I would remove to total installation, and re-install with path and folder-names in iso-chars (eg std English alphabet + numbers) ONLY
temoin-de-yehovah wrote: please good explain not understant wat is probleme ?
In programming you have so called code-pages
a code-page contain all the chars that are used in one particular localisation-setting.

The tools that are being used to build LMMS cant read chars from all code-pages.
For instance the letter Æ or á or ä would create problems.

this is the french code-page:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_page_863
It has a lot of unreadable chars! -like é

LMMS reads only English ISO-character page
You have several letters in your path and folder structure with letters that are not on the english ISO-character code-page

That is why LMMS cant run
You need to install LMMS in a path, folder and file structure, that ONLY uses english ISO-character:

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvxyz (or capitals) +
1234567890

ONLY those chars are valid.

(because is am jéhovah witness <links redacted by admin>)
I didn't quite get that. Do you mean that you follow instructions on how to name disk partitions and direcories that are based on religious beliefs?

We are working toward releasing a new version of LMMS, 1.2.0 but it looks like the issue of file names is still not solved in the current development version. https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/issues/1191 .
Renaming, as suggested, would be my first work-around too. The bug seem to be on Windows builds only so you could perhaps try running LMMS from Ubuntu within windows using a vitual engine?
temoin-de-yehovah wrote: is work vst in lmms big thanks
Yes. Not all works though. MusikBear gave you a link in his first answer in this topic. Follow it. Read it.

Nope, not this one... :evil:
temoin-de-yehovah wrote:vsti work with lmms ?
or only vst work on lmms ?
Both.
OS:Windows 10 Professionnel ‎(X64)‎
lmms version v1.1.3 win32
Is there a special reason you use win32? I think if you use win64 it may actually use Utf-8 and that would fix your issue. I'll look into it more.
Do read rules again

lets keep this on subject, please

I'm glad you managed to solve the issue.
Good luck with your music making! :D
