Piano Roll Note Resize

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello,

is it possible to force choosing note resize in Piano Roll (instead of moving it) by clicking and dragging the right side of the note? My problem is that if I click inside the note it starts moving instead, although the hover icon is changed to resize. I often have to try a several times until I succeed to click outside the note and resize successfully. I need this very often, so this would significantly speed up my work.

Thank you very much,
Binyomin

Oh yes indeed, just place the mouse-pointer at the right-edge of any note and drag, that will resize the note.
Perhaps my rookie-guide can interest you? Link in signature.

Thank you for your answer. This is exactly my problem that I found it hard to click exactly at the right edge. Because if I miss it by but a few pixels than it moves the note instead of resizing it. Is there any way to avoid this second option, which I don't intend to use? (I want to move the notes, but not when the mouse cursor is showing the resize icon.)

There are no methods to resize notes with kb-press.
The only other option is to use a fixed note-size
You select the fixed sizes in the dropdown:

I have not heard this complaint before, do you have a motor-disadvantage, or is your mouse defect. Im asking because this issue is new when it comes to normal notes, however - try to magnify the whole piano-roll:

it may be easier to 'grab' the note edge if you use 200 or 400 x

OK, thank you, I have no motor-disadvantage. It's just disturbing that sometimes it moves, sometimes resizes. Maybe I try it in the Github / Issues forum.

No this is not a bug. It does not belong on hub
One thing you can try is too lower the sensitivity of you're mouse.
