any way to freeze / render tracks without exporting?

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I heard that this was a feature pre 1.0 but is it in the latest / beta versions?
what i mean by track freezing / rendering is to render an individual track with its effects as if it were exporting but for it to go directly back into the project, kindof like this in abelton: https://youtu.be/nCuOH7ymj8E?t=80

Sorry, no it is not. You need to record with a different program. We recommend Audacity
It is free, solid and well maintained
We dont hesitate to recommend it :

Besides that, since you are new in Forum

The freeze function was buggy and was dropped for lmms-1.0
The issue for reintroducing it is here: https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/issues/762

I didn't get this. You can export tracks in lmms to an audio file and then add it back to the project in a Sample track. No need for an external application in this case. It's not as practical as a freeze function though.

:P that true! I diddent think of that -sorry
The trick to just get one track is of cause to solo that track before export (dohh)
So two different workflows are possible
