.rx2 support and a slicer plugin

I wonder if LMMS will ever support .rx2 (loop files where you can adjust the speed) and a slicing plugin with that you can edit loops.
It can be really useful if you want to make dnb.

Anyways, I agree with this. As an amateur musician listening to perfectly sliced vocal chop, I would love to know how to do this in LMMS. That would help make such cool music!

There was an attempt at reverse engineering that format some 2-3 years ago, but AFAIK there was no success in cracking the audio compression. I'd say it's very unlikely that LMMS (or any other open source software) gets .rx2 support anytime soon.

Then maybe someone could make an alternative, .ogg based standard, which is open source? Since it's not a very complicated format, just individual samples with tempo information.
