*headtilt* Vestige is absent in 0.4.14-rc1.

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I downloaded the newest version of LMMS via the PPA ppa:dns/sound because VSTi didn't work in LMMS 0.4.10, which I used before. I hoped that upgrading both LMMS and Wine would solve the issue, but, now that I have it, I see that the VeSTige plugin is completely absent in the Linux version. I understand, though, that .dll files are unknown in Unix and working with Wine can be super tricky, but does it mean that the developers might drop the VST support in the Linux build? If I got everything wrong, how do I fix the problem? Should I download the plugin separetely and put it somewhere in the LMMS installation directory (which I know where is)? If so, what file? Where is it in the source?
Essentially, VeSTige isn't here and my final question is: can I have it back?
i have NO knowlegde of linux / wine etc, but i did notice that you try to use rc1. I would try the last full supported release: 0.4.13
RC1 is only a test version of lmms, and perhaps module(s) has been omitted??
But see if you can get 0.4.13 to run vsts. I know it has been working for with vsts, and even with vsts that does not run well on win.
(but i use the win version)

It isn't the first time I have problems with the PPA. There are people here who use rc1 and still have Vestige, which makes me wonder if they compiled LMMS from source and if the version I received via automatic update is miscompiled. Just a thought, though. Seems like test versions and stable versions are being sent via the PPA to all users, so I'm not the only one with a missing plugin (I'm sure).
*sign* Nevermind. I purged the PPA, went back to 0.4.10 and thankfully all that I needed to play VSTi was the lastest Wine build. I'm ragequitting the PPA.x3
I have heard that ubuntu have had that problem, in the new ubuntu LMMS 0.4.14 (final release) comes included, so if you are upgrading maybe it will work
