piano roll, loop parameters

I had a quick question about modifying the loop and having it apply to when the rest of the track is being added. When I modify the loop parameters and play it in the piano roll, the timing is fine. But when you exit the piano roll and click play, the timing goes back to what is it originally. Does anyone know how to make the modified loop apply at all times?

in song-editor:
point at the black note-container
left click it and hold left down
press and hold ctrl
Now you can drag the whole container to a fine-grated posistion with no snap

I did not quite understand the part: apply the loop when the rest of the track is added. I think you now this but the tool to the far right in the song-editor lets you play from the same point over and over. Do as musicbear said, CTRL and drag the loophead for fine adjustments
