Figured I may should post the few samples of LMMS work that i have posted online. FIrst I have an "8bit Gameboy" cover of the Main Gate theme from Mega Man Legends. All sounds were made using the Freeboy plugin, and I also employed a ladspa plugin (I forget which one, I think it may have been a bit crusher or something similar) to get a lo-fi "Gameboy speaker" type sound.

I don't really like it now as much as I did when I first made it, especially as I've since been working with REAL Gameboy music production. But still, I think it's cool for what it is.

And now, once again, another remix of the same song, but this time more hippity-hoppity. I used soundfonts and samples and stuff. Sorry about the peaking pop of the snare in the left channel. I'll fix it someday...

This was actually used in the fan-made "Mega Man Legends 3 Concept Album" compilation, which was a labor of love by fans of the series who were sad to see Mega Man Legends 3 canceled by Capcom seemingly without reason. Speaking of which...

the final track I have to post is an original tune, but still inspired by Mega Man Legends. I wanted to put a bit of a chiptune feel into it, since it's set in an Arcade. You can probably tell I really love the Freeboy Plugin :D, but I obviously used a bunch of other stuff since it's not supposed to be 8bit. (actually, little-known fact: The Gameboy actually outputs 4-bit sounds, not 8-bit)

Anywho, you should definitely check out the rest of the album because there's some really great stuff, and a few more tracks by yours truly but with the very old "Sound Club" program. There's a free download link at the bottom of the album page.

So, two remixes, one original tune, and all Mega Man themed, :D

Oh my. You posted this on my Birthday 3 years ago?
How Cool is that? :)
And to make things more interesting, my birthday is just around the corner again. 8-)

I don't know everything about Rockman/Mega man but.......here it goes.

Nice Megaman collection you made here. :)

The first one is a nice remix. It doesn't sound bad.
I like the vid. Rock Volnutt and old school Rockman fighting together? Nice! :D

The second one with the hippity-hoppity beat as you call it.
It sounds very cool. 8-)
My suggestion for this track: Would be to either lower the volume of the drum a bit.
Or raise the loudness of the other instruments a bit.
Your choice.

The third one that you posted on bandcamp, I must admit, for an original creation, it is Very cool!
Because it really does sound, as if it came from an actual Mega man Legends game. 8-)
It was very convincing. :)
I like the pic you used for it too. Volnutt in an arcade with others?
Cool artwork.
I get an old school arcadey vibe from just watching it. 8-)

PS: All in all, this is a nice Megaman/Rockman collection you made here.
Good work.

Okay that's it from me, before Dr. Stinky old Wily and his stinky bots, find me again. :P
Oh crap!! My sonar has just picked up on them! GASP!! I think they spotted me!! O.O
I'm out! See Ya!
Wrd. 8-)
