So, I'm having a bit of trouble using the ZynAddSubFX GUI. I have a sample that was downloaded from a song with ZynAddSubFX. I was curious as to what made it sound the way it sounded, and I noticed that the Portamento function was checked. So I grab another sample with the ZynAddSubFX and check the Portamento function. I use the keyboard there to make sure it worked. (It does) I close it out. Nothing happens. I open it up again. It's un-checked. I tried doing so a few times, but nothing worked. I tried saving the parameters, but it turned into a weird file that did absolutely nothing. So my problem: I cannot get the Portamento function in the ZynAddSubFX GUI to save as 'selected'. Is there a save function I'm just not seeing? (I know saving can be possible, because after checking the box and using the GUI keyboard, I get different sounds than when its un-checked-) Thanks.
That sounds kind of weirdAwesome101q7 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 29, 2017 11:38 pmSo, I'm having a bit of trouble using the ZynAddSubFX GUI.
I wonder if you by 'sample' means preset
I think so. ZynAddSubFX (zasfx) does not use samples. zasfx depends on deep settings inside a somewhat overwhelming and complicated gui.
I have made many tutorials on various parts of how to manage the most important of these.
This one

is the portamento
I wonder if you did this, or something else?
