Description:

Good song (and hated by many) from the 80s which was lots of fun.

1) You will need decent General Midi soundfont, the one I used is below:
a) "Musyng Kite ": https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=351893
b) You need to unpack the sfpack file to an sf2 file: https://www.lifewire.com/sfpack-file-2622279
c) Once you do this, you will need to re-set each instrument to this soundfont AND patch.

2) Dexed (FM Synth) is a must for this one, as the original soundtrack used DX7 (well technically the TX816) and Dexed is pretty damn close:

(Optional)
3) You (might) need the original ROM for the dx7, load it into Dexed. They are in this zip along with vocals.

4) I used Big Beauty VST for the Distortion Guitars: http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?plugin=Big_Beauty&id=942

(Bonus Fun - 80s were nuts about gated reverb)
If you want a more authentic version, try adding a Gated Reverb on Toms, Snare, and Lead Brass. Preset #6 on this VST will do the trick: http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?id=545 or you can do it manually, tutorial here: https://lmms.io/lsp/?action=show&file=15789

Here's my version (not using gated reverb), soundcloud wouldn't accept it:
