Description:

I try to make a decent DnB but I don't know how to continue and tame/mix this music..
My ears hurt.. damn..
Btw, I'm using Texx's original melody and bassline.. just change it a little bit to suit my taste..

@Musiqaa Let me preface this by quoting SeamlessR here: "The only person who'll ever truly know if your track is good or bad is you. The only way someone like me could even begin to speak on "good or bad" is by asking questions about your intentions. What were you going for? What did you want to sound like? If I can compare it to something, I can cite differences and make suggestions. But until you give me that, the only thing it can be compared to is your own vision for what you want. No matter how hard you try and explain what that is to someone else, they're never going to "get it" as well as you can for yourself. Feedback is good, critique from people who know what they're talking about is better, but learning to recognize and trust your own instinct on "good" is ultimately what will make your music the best." From listening to your projects I know that you're not a complete beginner producer. You know a thing or two about this music stuff. I think that you are self aware enough to not need someone telling you whether your project good or bad. What you need is specific advice and constructive criticism about certain elements of the song. If you want feedback try asking specific questions about different elements of the track. Ratings can't give you that. A person could rate your project badly just because he doesn't like the genre...or some stupid shit. That's why ratings are pretty meaningless unless you know the reason behind the rating. A problem with asking people to give you constructive criticism is that people usually don't have time for that. Also it would obviously be nice to get the feedback from a person who knows what he's talking about and can word himself well... Posted by: Squatro  on 2017-03-14 18:28:22
@Musiqaa "I aimlessly experimenting with different types of genre just for the sake of fun.. " That's not a bad thing... I don't think that you should restrict yourself onto one genre. Sure building an audience might be easier when you stick to one genre, but you should do whatever makes you happy. I hate labeling songs into genres i general. IMO some of the best songs take bits from a plethora of different genres... Posted by: Squatro  on 2017-03-14 21:53:54
