I can't export my projects. Urgent help needed!

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I keep getting this error when I try to export my project in any format.

Could not open file C:/User/username/Documents/filename.mp3 for writing.
Please make sure you have write permission to the file and the directory containing the file and try again!

This has never happened before, it also doesn't export if I open it with administrator, i'm very sure I didn't mess with any settings, I've also checked the directory settings, tried re-installing Lmms but nothing worked. Please help!

Have you saved your project before you attempted to export it?
I am puzzled by the wording
username/Documents/filename.mp3
Is your project named filename
Have you tried to export to wave or ogg? -I guess you have since you wrote
in any format.
The library " C:/User/username/Documents " should be available for you at all times, it is your domain, so read/write issues from permissions, should not appear, it should however now write /username/, but it does not -right, you just dont want to post it in public, and thats fine. It is not fine if it indeed DO write "/username/"
You mentioned that you reinstalled LMMS
What version?
Where did you get the installer from?

Reinstalling software should imo be about the very last thing to do, the very first is to restart your computer eg, cold boot -Have you also done that?

Thank you.
Yes I saved the project before exporting, no the name isn't "filename" I was just illustrating the error message, I mentioned I tried exporting in all formats, mp3, wav, ogg, got the installer from the main website, version 1.2.2

The problem started about 3 days ago, I've tried every troubleshooting I could think of, cold booting, re-installing, checking to see if settings were messed which they weren't. It just suddenly started giving me this error...

Yack... 😣
So odd..
Did you 'do something' 3 days ago, like installing or removing, updating.. eg larger 'things' on your OS or filesystem?
Maybe you have a restore-point that you could revert to..... But that comes with a lot of other grief -I know that..
Before going there, I would like you to make an export of a project that you have exported before, and i want you to export it to the same folder location as the first time.
The simplest way is to browse to the once successful exported project, and click-insert it as export-target. You ofcause wont want to overwrite the existing export, so add a 0 to the name, then export.
That test would make check for folder-rights ao fails in the namestring amo.
So do that!
If no go..
How about the configuration file

The dot-file can be apitn in some circumstances, you could try to follow the guide, and redo the config.
-Also this guide shows the correct way to remove and reinstall, but doubt that it will help in this..
