Do remember that your settings not can have any ASCII-characters in any of your path in the file-path Setup!
Only English iso-characters can be used!
This might be a stretch guys, but check your Lmms Settings and search all of the paths for strange symbols.
eg. * # % ^ $ etc.

If you see, any symbols like these/or similar to these, in any of your folder paths, then remove them all. :geek:
Those symbols are not supposed to be, in the folder paths.
I hope that helps.

Note: It will take a while to find and search for these symbols. So don't worry. :)

Sorry, i have missed your post.
Have you found your .lmmsrc.xml ?
Have you tried moving it, and restart lmms?

Hey guys, I had the exact same problem but I fixed it.
If your using lmms 64bit, try the 32 bit version.
That's what worked for me!

That should not necessary. You should be able to install and use the current 1.1.3 in 64 bit.
Please post your:
* OS (+service-pack-ver)
* lmms vers
* hardware specification (ram & soundcard is the most imortant)
* lmms sound device chosen
I had the same problem, but managed to figure it out. It seems to simply be a glitch. I turned off auto-save in the preferences and put the sound card to SDL, closed the program, reopened and it worked.

Simply just restart your computer after entering port audio and close lmms. This worked for me!

Yes that is true. In order to have any settings invoked. LMMS does indeed need to be restarted, but that is where some users run into problems. The reason for these problems is not known/ understood, but it has to do with rights to a configuration-file : lmmsrc.xml

But it is great that you had no issues ;)

Beside that, i can see that you are new in our forum, so-
