The funny part is that it does not matter if I have one synth1 or ten synth 1 in my project.slipstick wrote:I think I'll stick to Windows, I've never had any problems with Synth1, it's wonderfully stable even when I have 10 or more instances in a project.

Usual it works for hours without a problem but then boom.
Or it crashes within seconds after I hit play, but then when I restart lmms all seems fine.
I have been thinking about installing debug tools, to see if I can find out what is happening.
The fact that it often works for hours without a problem is what makes it weird.
On windows lmms is as stable for me as on linux. It crashed for me on windows too if I use vst.
The one advantage , I have seen on windows is that more vst work on windows then on Linux.
The one thing I like about Linux though, if a program crashes it wont take down the rest.
I like to add something though, I am used to computer programs crashing. At work with cad programs and at home with games and such.
Last job I had, worked with Catia, great program but it does sometimes crash, and they have a few more developers then lmms.
For those who I lost with Catia:

Its used for making models and drawing of about anything from a smart phone to an spaceship.
