LMMS wants to remove wine-staging

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hi. I'm trying to install LMMS on Ubuntu but it wants to remove wine-staging that I have installed. The problem is I don't want to remove it. LMMS seems like a cool program but I don't want it to mess my packages. Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

PS
I had problems registering on this forum in Tor Browser. I managed to do it anyway but I think it's kind of sad that you don't want your users to have privacy. I understand that some people use Tor to spread spam but putting a few extra captchas for only Tor users would probably solve it.

It is not advisable to make a judgment of intent after a request for assistance, especially when aid has not yet been provided.

It is not because a function is absent that there is a will or a lack of will of ... directed against ...

Well, you're welcome, but I cann't help you, I have never used anything other than Windows ...

LMMS need to use wine if you are to have VST-capability. There is no way around that, I have no idea if wine-staging covers the need for full wine.
I would guess no.
So the bottom line here, is that you apparently has things installed, that does not go well with lmms -Thats goes for TOr too.

The best i can offer is the various articles on using wine and ubuntu
They are here:

Most has succes with the KX-studio lmms pack, so that is recommended.
Thank you for your responses. I also got some help here: https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/issues/3705. It appears to be a problem with Ubuntu.

You are right. There is no proof that this forum doesn't want its users to have privacy. There could be other reasons for this that I didn't think of. Most people don't care if their ISP tracks what websites they visit and if those websites track where they are and who they are so that could be the reason.

Wine staging is just wine but with newer features that weren't added to wine yet (https://wine-staging.com). It does cover the need for wine but unfortunately it looks like ubuntu package manager doesn't think so and forces me to install regular wine which forces me to uninstall wine staging.
