Moments like that

Hi!

Quite happy, this Friday I was in a trance, and I could compose the essential part of a track in a single session, with almost all the elements.

There is still a lot of work to do (removing, adding, planing, smoothing, extracting, breaking, syncopating, impacting, varying, leveling, compressing, throwing, retaining, replacing, leaving room for silence, having fun, etc.).

I made a fade out after the break, at the end of the track because the second part is only a repetition of the first, and that's not interesting ...

So, it is for moments like that I make music

Here is version 0 of my last one: https://soundcloud.com/dipsum/0223-00-1 ... s-comme-as

Some comments, suggestions, criticisms or others are welcome.
Hey!

I like pretty much everything else about the project, but the high pitched synth that comes in at around 0:17 sounds really really loud throughout the whole track...
But, again, other than that I like it a lot, it sounds very interesting.
Sounds... new, exciting, radioactive.. even biohazard. sounds like you're far out in the future, which is nice. we need explorers, pioneers, experimentalists, scientists, artists with brave attitude. You've clearly got something golden ripening here. keep it coming, brother. 8-)

Thanks! Yeah, this percussion remains too loud, before compression, it hit at + 6dB ...

Thanks, I had the impression that this track marked the beginning of a new stage in my musical journey, a bit like a paradigm jump.

But there is still something that prevents me from finishing my tracks in a satisfactory way, probably linked to lack of knowledge and experience, and some ergonomic constraints of LMMS. It may even be that I complicate life for nothing, when it would be possible to do things more simply ("Why make it simple when you can do it complicated"). Besides, as my projects begin to reach the limits of the CPU, I will have to find a way to simplify things.
I am currently enjoying the trash rock part that comes around 1min.

Then this epic graduation... I really love it. Makes me think of some track by Justice.

All the noise around this (alarm sound, buzzing, etc)... Seem to build an atmosphere of emergency.

The message I get is "oh shit our planet is a mess, let's try and stop before mankind vanishes".

So yeah epic and alarmous.
Very interesting.

Yeah, there is something in the way, probably a wall ...

I am relieved that it may please. Thank you.
I agree, that this is a really creative sounding track.
And the sounds were definitely put to good use man.

I get an insect vibe, from hearing the buzzing wings type sound.
I'm not sure, but I think this genre of music, might be categorised as experimental.
I think. :)

A new genre : Insectoid Vibe Music, a music for entomologist

There is indeed an experimental approach in the sense that I test different ways of concretizing ideas, but otherwise I never know how to categorize my tracks, so I say that it is "electronic music", which is rather unsatisfactory ...

Thanks Brandy
Yop!

Beyond the sounds, I appreciate the mood, well served by the structure of the track: the slow rising of the pressure, the climax and back to a kind of serenity in the end.

Yep!

The provisional end is supposed to pacify things for a brief moment, the second part still lacks.
Otherwise, yes, I also have to improve the sounds.

Thanks :D
