Wav files dont play or export because of length

I uploaded a wav file that is 9 minutes. LMMS does not play the song. If I export it, it also has no audio. I have uploaded a 8 min wav file and it does play that audio. Is there a limit on the files that LMMS can use? Its a pain having to cut up my audio and editing them into LMMS 2 times. I am using the latest LMMS version 1.1.3. I cant seem to find any information about this.

Some clarifications would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What do you mean? Did you upload it to a site like Soundcluod or Youtube?

In lmms-1.1.3 there is a file limit of 100MB. It is also not obvious when you try to open a larger file because the message given is on the command line. This has been fixed in the next version of lmms. There is no limit on how large an exported project can be though. At least no deliberate ones.

I am using the latest LMMS version 1.1.3.

We will soon release a new stable version of lmms and I suggest you ditch 1.1.3 and jump on the last beta version of lmms-1.2. It is more stable than 1.1.3 and allows samples up to 300MB but not longer than 90 minutes.
