I heard about the new release of LMMS 1.2 (actually, I saw Unfa's video about it), and it looks like a great release.
However, it's basically useless to me on my 28" ASUS 4K monitor, as the default font size is absolutely tiny -- they are are about 1/8" or around 3mm tall (if that), and all but unreadable. Apparently this version doesn't have a UI scaling option, either, which is a real problem for me. Trying to read the fonts causes me eye strain and I basically have to lean in close to my monitor to see what the labels say.
Before I had this 4K monitor I did use LMMS some, but that was on an old ASUS monitor with a resolution of 1920x1200. In any case, I gave up on this program after going to 4K because I couldn't find a way to make the font size bigger.
So, I understand that the font size is controlled by the themes file. I'd like to be able to edit this and increase my font size... which I just now did, but it doesn't appear that I can even change the theme in the AppImage version. There apparently is no option to change the theme file in the Settings window (which, btw, is also tiny on my screen).
So what I am supposed to do here? I don't want to have to abandon LMMS again because I can't make the fonts a readable size.
