Beat+Baseline Editor

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hey everyone. I am new to LMMS and am trying to figure out how apply the Beat+Baseline Editor to a VST instrument. For instance, I have a DR-910 VST drum machine that I've set up in LMMS that I would like to edit with the Beat+Baseline Editor.

Any help is appreciated.

Drum-machines depends on weather it can be started and stopped with automation, and also weather you can change program with automation.
You can regard a drum- machine as the same kind of VST as a Arp-seqenser. Both has programs, and both need to be startet and stopped on command
Watch this video,

and then test if your DR-910 VST can be controlled through automation
Here is an automation guide:

Thank you for your reply. This process sounds complicated. I was hoping that it would be similar to cubase where you can edit a midi track using the piano roll editor or drum editor.
