why does everything free come with a catch

Vestige doesn't work. wine basically doesn't actually exist from what i can see I've looked everywhere and found no actual download link and vst are very very important. what do i do, i am not trying to torrent fl studio anymore and get in trouble in 10 years. this daw however is ruining the whole experience for me.
Im using tested vst's and have a super modern laptop. i tried both 64 and 32 bit this app is just so complicated sometimes that it makes me forget music is suppose to be fun to make.

You are complaining about things that works for everybody else ON LINUX AND WINDOWS
I however think that you are using MAC!
In the Download-site, it is especially written, that MAC does not support VST!
Why?
Because noone has coded it -yet

If you in fact are not a MAC user, then dont worry, if your HW is as good as you say, we will get VST up and running for you with no sweat or doubt
