Obtaining a Mac version for High Sierra

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I have been trying to install versions of LMMS on my machines. I have several Macs, runnng different OS versions.

One is currently runnning High Sierra, and I'm not rushing to update that to Mojave or Catalina.
I tried to download LMMS recently, and I found a version which works, but unfortunately it seems to be in Portuguese. Is there a good site where I can download a version which works with High Sierra, but defaults to English? The version is 1.2.1.

I am probably going to have to update some of the other machines, as they are still at El Capitan, and the version which works with those is considerably earlier. If there is a newer version which works with El Capitan that would be helpful to know, but it's not a very high priority. I have version 1.1.3 running, but is seems to lack some of the features I need.

I would like to try an English version of one which works with High Sierra, as I should be able to do that immediately on my laptop.
A quick update, though I’ve not made any useful progress with this yet, unfortunately. I looked further down the page, and noticed a comment about always downloading from the official site - which I think is hosted at github. So I went back to that and downloaded another copy. Sadly it had exactly the same language issues as the one I had a day or so back from another sit. I’m fairly sure there is an English language one somewhere, but now I can’t find it.

This is really quite frustrating.

Language is not bound to any version of lmms.
You can choose from a lot of different languages, and you do that in Settings:
Edit | settings| General

Just select the language you like to use. afair you need to restart lmms
Thanks for the suggestion re Languages. I'll have to revisit this in the morning, but right now it doesn't look to me as though the versions I've downloaded, and there have been several, have allowed access to a Settings panel. Other versions I've seen before clearly did have such access - so I'm not really sure what's going on.

Ah well, bed time - there'll be time to check again tomorrow I think.

Thanks for responding - hope we can get this fixed.
