The midi drumset is gone.

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hi, i have a problem with some midi file.
Making jazz songs is my hobby, but i wanted to compose something better. So i found a midi jazz song that is perfect for me, and i wanted to import it to lmms. However, the drums channel (? idk how to name it.) is almost missing. There are some notes but not the entire drum melody.
In most cases all i must do is setting up the instrument bank from 0 to 127 or 128, but not now. There almost aren't any notes. I don't know how to solve it.

The song is named "2nd Time Foreground".

And sorry for my English, i'm not a native speaker.

I would have to see the MIDI-file before i can explain this, but look at the different tracks. The one with the percussion looks 'strange' in as much as it has many more notes vertically, then you would expect in an instrument track.
After you have located that track, Test it solo, so you know it is the right one! Then examine the note velocity . In piano-roll You can see the individual notes 'power' by looking at the height of these balks:

The ringed notes has default and audible velocity.
Your drumnotes may have very short balks, and then you cant hear them.
IF all balks are of same height, then its very easy to fix. Select all and move just one balk up. All will follow, however -If they are relatively with different height, then it is not simple
Unfortunate we do not yet have percentage volume control. so altering notes to a higher relative value is a lot of work..
Before you do that, try and turn the channel volume All UP, i bet you already have tried that, so next option is the add one or several Amplifiers on the FX-tab
That will enhance the volume, and still preserve the percentage relative difference in the percussion.

:) If most of this was rubbish, and not possible to understand, the let me know and i can make a small video on it
No. I mean, in the midi file i can hear all the percussion, but when i import this file into lmms, there are some notes only at the end of the song. You can find this song on midis101. Just type "2nd time foreground" in google.

Well First i though "Very strange..I get everything"

And i started to wonder if you had the right version of LMMS, but then i just for the fun of it, and because i kind of like jazz, went and played the whole piece, it was fine...Except
At the end passing the bar 49, something really odd happened.
The MIDI instrument changed from standard 128 to Grand-piano!!!
That is PR DESIGN! I think the uploader diddent like the last part of the percussion, that actually is cheasy, and decided to us piano instead!
But made a mistake!
The drums are not re-initialized, so after one play-through, the drum-track is now changed to Grand-piano!!!
You need to remove the automation block at bar 49, then that strange fail wont happen, but the piece is better without the last bars of percussion. It is a solo, for the other instruments, and it fits the piece perfectly. But bottom-line
The automation clip at 49- bar, change percussion to Grand-piano :p
It doesn't work, or i'm doing something wrong. I have 1.1.3.
I have an idea. Could you send me the .mmpz file of this song with the drums melody overwritten as another instrument, like the piano? I would be very thankful.
