AKAI LPK25 MIDI device not appearing in input dropdown

I'm on windows 10 and I have a AKAI LPK25 with USB connection.
It works fine in my web browser in things like beepbox, and it shows up in the dropdown menu in LMMS for MIDI>Output, but not MIDI>Input.

When I hover over ''Output'' I get ''LPK25'' and '''Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth'' but when I hover over ''Input'' I get nothing.

Anybody know how to get it to show up?

LMMS only support one way midi, meaning if you can make LMMS respond with playing sounds of the instrument you have connected as you press a key on your AKAI LPK25, then you got what LMMS can natively do. There are some options to make signal from LMMS and into your MIDI-KB, but that needs mapping of individual midi-channels.
If you do not have sound in LMMS when you press a key on AKAI LPK25 then please report back with these info:

• lmms version, and the site where you got it from
• lmms sound device chosen

I have version 1.2.2 and I got it from https://lmms.io/download#windows
What do you mean by sound device and how do I check?

I installed midimapper from coolsoft then restarted my computer and it now appears in the input dropdown.
