I've seen an image in demo projects in LMMS (to be exact in unfa-Spoken) and how did the author inserted it?

You need to be a coder.
There is a codeblock that allows it, but it will be rather technic to explain, and it is an unnecessary bloating of the project-size. I think we have removed it in an update.
Use the text, font and colour-features, they will not be removed, so that guarantee that your project-notes will look like you intended. Images will not.
