Disco was one of the many genres that caught my attention when i was younger but, wasn't really my cup of tea

"Disco really made it" 's instrumental has me intrigued

I wonder what happened to disco though, barely hear ANYTHING that makes me remind me of it these days did it really die?
Or has it evolved to what we call house today?

Disco was something, my parents listened to when they were younger.
Not my type of music. But it is an interesting genre of music.
But after listening to some, this music track from Daft Punk seems very close to it.
