What happened to freezing tracks?

The "freeze" option seems to have disappeared in 1.0. Is there a keyboard shortcut or something that I'm missing? I really need this feature due to my older computer.

I really need this feature due to my older computer.

It was removed for the 1.0.0 release.

Like owallgren says, it was removed. It wasn't working very well, caused problems, didn't work at all with automations.

In the future we might possibly replace it with a function to export individual patterns/tracks and/or convert them to samples/sample tracks. Although there's no deadline on when this will be implemented, yet.
