using VST effects

I downloaded LMMS a couple of hours ago and have been playing around with it--I love it so far. I just have one question, and I feel like such an idiot that I can't figure it out: how do you load VST effects (i.e., to use in the FX mixer)? Loading VST instruments is no problem (though it would be nice if LMMS supported VST pre-sets). I scoured the wiki and couldn't find an answer, though the "VST Database" page lists several VST effects that supposedly work with LMMS.
I must say, though, that I'm pleasantly surprised by how well LinuxSampler works with LMMS...

It is listed in the same dialog as LADSPA effects. Just select it. It should be listed.

To use vst plugins in the mixer, you only need to put the .dll files in the right place.
Now what is the right place ?
The folder listed under setting, vst plugin map. (you can of course change that folder if you like)
Go to the fx tab, click add effect and it should be listed there, together with the other plugins.

Oh, to add to what the others have told you guys:
Don't forget to use the
Vestige plugin, to load in some
3rd party Vst's like
Synth 1 etc.
The
Vestige plugin is used,
to load 3rd party vst's into Lmms and it is located in the same place, on the
left hand side of the Lmms workspace, where you find
Triple Oscillator,
Organic,
Monstro,
sfxr and
zynAddZubFX etc.
Enjoy!

Indeed. What prob will confuse people, because it confused me.
To use vst effect plugins on the fx mixer, you don't add vestige to the fx mixer channel.

ok.
i found my problem - vst effect should be in root of folder (c:\bin\vst) - and not in subfolders.
before i used thas structure:
c:\bin\vst\32bit\effects
c:\bin\vst\32bit\instruments
c:\bin\vst\64bit\effects
c:\bin\vst\64bit\instrum
coz other sequencers work correctly with subfolders vst plugins and i need some order with plugins
fol LMMS i should put all effects to c:\bin\vst
c:\bin\vst\32bit\effects -> c:\bin\vst
c:\bin\vst\64bit\effects -> c:\bin\vst
(why LMMS not support folders for plugins?)

You are
so right! It is a short cumming of lmms,that it does not support sub-folderstructures in the installation. This is something that does have focus, and a ticket, for development.
Besides that @trekkiejj

That exact sane problem happened to me too.
The solution for me was to still have folders for most vst, because vestige does not have a problem with subfolders.
But the few I use on the fx mixer, are not organized.
