How to reset volume after automation

Hi all.
In order to have a fade out I have added an automation track to fade the general volume out from the FX-mixer.
And indeed it works fine for a single run.
Then when I hit the "stop" button and hit the "play" one again, the volume is kept at its 0 value, requiring me to manually reset it.
Is this intentional or is it a bug?

well, downstream it may change, but it is ridiculous simple to fix
just set the volume to your intended play-value, and drag that value in the automation-track at 0-beat posistion. -eg initialize the automation-track.
You btw have to think this way, with every autoamtion, when you designs it, not just volume:
Initialize & set-auto-curves (& Initialize) The last is often also nescesary.
