[SOLVED] How to change the default project under Linux?

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
Hi all.
I'd like to create my own default project.
Where is the default one stored to? Or is it programatically created?

update: solution is here
create a template
Those are used for exactly that, then you just click 'add-template' button, and choose from the list. The factually default setup, cant be changed.
I actually meant the "default project" you get when you start the application.
I already knew about the templates... Thanks anyway.

Then I need to be able to save that template in the system template directory.
Under Ubuntu Linux this happens to be /usr/share/lmms/projects/templates/, owned by root, thus not writable by my normal users.
Is there a way to create a new project from a template not residing in that directory?
I would like not to share my templates with other users...
i doubt it, but i will raise a enhancement ticket, but for now afaik - not possible
LMMS uses the file projects/templates/default.mpt as the default template if it exists.
Great news grejppi! This needs to be documented!

Confirmed it works under Ubuntu Linux!
I documented it here https://lmms.io/documentation/Main_Menu_Bar, but it isn't easy to find... we should get a search field going on
