Those are used for exactly that, then you just click 'add-template' button, and choose from the list. The factually default setup, cant be changed.
Then I need to be able to save that template in the system template directory.
Under Ubuntu Linux this happens to be
/usr/share/lmms/projects/templates/, owned by
root, thus not writable by my normal users.
Is there a way to create a new project from a template not residing in that directory?
I would like not to share my templates with other users...
