VST Plugins don't work

Hallo all

I'm planning to use LMMS for Guitar Amp Simulation. I descovered LMMS yesterday, so i realy need help
I downladed some VST Plugins and used them trough the VeSTige Instrument Plugin in LMMS
Since I don't have a guitar at the moment, i wanted to test the plugins with a MIDI file.
But there is only one Plugin (DVS Guitar) which modulates the Sound.
Other, more powerful plugins don't have an effect on the soundoutput. (For example Shred 1.06 or FA36)

EDIT: I just realized that actualy the sound doesn't even reaches the Plugin (except DVS Guitar)....
When I enable Midi output by rightklicking on the VeSTige plugin, I hear two sound in DVS Guitar, the guitar sound and the normal "piano" sound. Without enabling this MIDI output, i can hear just guitar sound in DVS Guitar.
In other Plugins, i hear nothing without enabling midi output and just the piano after enabling it.

3 guitar plugins have be reported to work with lmms.
I hope one of them can be used for your project -others may work, but vst is unfortunately not a uniform standard, so all plugins will not work.
