LMMS audio editing/drum sequencing

hey im really into open source software even though i only use mac for ages but i try to only use stuff that is open source and for free.

so because im an old reason user and do some hiphop/drumandbass beats now and then i have a few questions because i would really love to use this programm:

- is there a thing like redrum or any other drum machine or basically sampler?
- is there a sampler? i need to be able to trigger multiple slices of a sample
- can i record or sample into LMMS? if yes how?
- is there a sequencer? is yes, where?
- how can i time strech a sample. 120 bpm loop to 160 bpm loop ? simple strech how is that done.


hope anyone can help me out im not quite understanding this yet.

Im afraid that this is going to be quite disapointing, and even more since you are a osx user. Support for osx is limited. There is f.i. no support for VST.

Because osx cant use VST the answer is no.

No lmms cant record sound, we recommend using Audacity

As bear said, you can use Audacity for recording, stretching samples and mixing tracks etc.
