ZynAdSubFX/VeSTige do not work.

Last time I tried to open the Gui of Zynadsubfx, it crashed. I tried everything to work it, including Reinstalling LMMS. Now i installed the 1. 2 of LMMS and it said: It doesn´t work because the "libwinpthread-1 dll", which is necessarily doesn´t exist. However i found this file, what should I do now?
Next, the Vestige also doesn´t work, because there´s some problem with Finding the VST. (WHY?!)
The problem with reinstalling is, that all my settings (file paths etc..) are NOT changed.... SO HOW THE FUCK CAN I TOTALLY RESET LMMS?! INCLUDING DATA MANAGEMENT?!

Mmmm ...shouting at it with Mmmm 'words' are most likely not going to do the trick...
Buuuut
Lets take things to a more constructive path, and look at what YOU need to do first:
please post your:
* OS (+service-pack-version)
* lmms version (1.2 does not exist -Must be a PR nm? -and those are unsupported )
* hardware specification (ram & soundcard is the most important)
* a screenshots of error-state
* names and best download links of the failing vst's

After you have given us that, we can attack the issue constructively

I am from Austria.
I think you misunderstood my question a little bit. My question is: Can I reset LMMS totally, so that all settings are set to basic. Because the VST and ZynAddSubFx did work (nearly) absolute properly. So I think, this was cause of a software problem/ update. The point is, that I did already found this error file, and I extracted it to desktop. This would probably be my other solution: Drag this file, (and I am sure that there is such a file for VeSTige either) to the correct folder. But please to refer to my 1^st f***ing question this time.

Yes, you can do that:
for the pc experts: CMD:

Code: Select all

 move %USERPROFILE%\.lmmsrc.xml %USERPROFILE%\.lmmsrc.xml.bak

or follow

After you have done that, you can remove current lmms, and then reinstall any lmms-ed, and it will be vanilla-factory
