LMMS crashes shortly after loading VST

Hi!
I'm new on the forums, and fairly new to LMMS and DAWs in general. I just found out about the majesty of VSTs and wanted to try using one.
I downloaded Synth1 and followed the installation instructions, but a few seconds after attempting to load the dll in Vestige, LMMS crashes. I am on Manjaro Linux. If anyone has any ideas about what could be causing this, that would be greatly appreciated!
-Edit: I am running LMMS version 1.2.2, and I am running Manjaro 5.8.18-1.
-Edit 2: Synth1 is the problem. I installed the mda JX10 synth and it works perfectly fine.

This is strange, synth 1 works fine for me. (openSUSE tumble weed)
So that should be close to manjero.


From the top of my head, you need to start an exe file, and then an ini file with wine ?
Been a while since I installed synth 1.

My first suspect would be wine.

That is as Gps -odd?
Synth1 is very stable.
But one thing i ned to ask:
Your 1.2.2. is that our AppImage? https://lmms.io/download#linux?
-Or is it installed through your CLI and pacMan?
I really hope you have CLI and pacMan, because then its dead simple:
Throw it away!
Get our AppImage!
Reinstall Synth1.
