Spear Pillar Jazz Remix (WIP)

Hello All! I currently have 2 projects in the works right now, one of them is a Spear Pillar Jazz Remix! I am currently happy with how it's turning out but I feel like the sax could be a bit more rich and not so 8 bit sounding(If someone could teach me how to do that, that would be great) I also added a bit of Dialga/Palkia's theme and I recreated the main background beat by ear. Might want to add a bit of Team Galactic's theme, if I can find the midi for that. My end goal would be a sax that sounds kind of like this, I'm currently using the Baritone Saxophone patch from Arachno Soundfont V 1.0 (Which all of the instruments in this piece come from, actually):

Oh and I would love to add the wind sound effects in from the original. I know how to do swoosh sounds but not that kind of wind

If I understand correctly, the sax you want to improve is a soundfont.

In this case, to adapt it, you could try combinations of effects.

For example, assign your sax to a mixer channel, send this channel to two other channels, one to which you do not add effects, the other to which you add serial effects such as Lo Fi, EQ, 4 x 4 pole allpass, compressor, reverb, narrower, or whatever.

Can there be any good vst?

This sounds pretty good dude.

But:The saxophone, comes in too sudden and too abruptly loud.
The saxophone melody is nice though.

I personally believe, that the saxophone soundfont, sounds nice.
Maybe adding some reverb effect to it, might make it sound better and fuller?

Can there be any good vst?

I tried that but for some reason DSK Saxophone and DVS Saxophone crash LMMS when I reload the project and those are like the main big ones.
