I am new to the field and am trying to compose song. The song is based on Indian Classical Music. So,I want to make the karoke track in lmms and record vocals to the track.I want to know how to leave the required amount of space, required for the vocals, in the karoke track.
Im afraid lmms cant record sound. You need to use a program like Audacity for that. You can import wave and ogg-forbis to lmms' Sample-trackSreeBharath wrote: ↑October 4th, 2017, 12:07 pmI want to make the karoke track in lmms and record vocals to the track.

You do not need to allocate space. if you refer to disk-space, lmms will take care of that. If you refer to 'space' in song-editor, you will see the actual spectrum of the imported sound-file, directly in song-editor, and you can freely move all blocks in the editorI want to know how to leave the required amount of space, required for the vocals, in the karoke track.
