VST problem (doesn't load)

Wass goin on. Im not to savy with my tech vocabulary or anything, but im using the 1.2.0 rc6 beta version, and when I attempt to open a VST that I downloaded, such as DSK gutair, the vst tab appears in my beat+baseline editor, but it claims to have "no VST-plugin loaded" and the GUI is unable to be shown im jus trynna make some music maaannnn

what OS? If you are on windows, you are fine. Linux need wine, and more....

DSKs vst's are not regular. A lot of issues are known.
For VST test i recommend MDA-Piano http://mda.smartelectronix.com/synths.htm
It is very small in size, and you can just copy it to your folder. -Eg NO installation! Further its a quite good piano-instrument, so it is a win win

Have you defined your VST-folder in Settings?

That is a must!

Then you need the VST-carrier-instrument, and you need to load the VST into the carrier.
