How to export an lmms audio on you tube without degradation

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hi guys,

I hope you are all okay during this complicated period.

I recently made a beat that i found not too bad (for once...) and i want to export it on You tube.

I have already did it on SoundCloud and it works perfectly (especially because they accept .wav files).

But when i use Pitivi in order to transform my .wav files into a video (MP4,MOV,...) the sound is degraded.

So do you have any tips in order to export an lmms project into a you tube format without too much degradation.

Have a great day.

Oki -maybe more a youTube support issue, but lets try..
I dont know pitivi, but it must be that conversion that degrades the quality
I believe that youtube pr default compress-convert all sound to mp3 128 kb, so exporting in higher quality, just leads to conversion
What have you used as export settings in lmms?
Did you oversample? Dont do that!
Try to export mp3 128 kb.
Then there is youtubes tools
I believe they have an option to add a soundtrack to a video, in a beta-studio subpage(?) Not sure
However -if you feel your sound-quality is degraded on yt, but fine on sCloud, then you could make a link in the yT description to a "Better sound-quality-version-of-my-track" I suppose you use video, because you have some visualization(?)
