VST files no longer load after OneDrive Sync

I've been using LMMS for over a month now and it always did just fine pulling my VST files from the lmms folder under My Documents on "This PC".

I wanted to backup my Surface Pro and so synced with OneDrive but ever since that happened it will no longer work. The Vestige VST plugin can't seem to find "This PC" and instead the lmms folder it tries to use is the OneDrive synced copy. It sees the files but they just don't load anything.

Dragging and dropping from "My PC" somehow results in the OneDrive copy (I looked at the file path, it changed). I even moved a "My PC" VST file to one of the folders already in the lmms Vestige plugin but it still just doesn't load anything.
Old projects that pulled from that folder now say they can't find them even though I've looked myself and they are still there.

I want all my VST's back

First off, you are using the wrong folder for your VST-instruments.

But that will most likely not fix your oneDrive issue..
It would seem like your pc has taken oneDrive, and given that priority in respect to your own local folder, and that is ..odd
I doubt it is lmms that we can blame for this, it must be windows, that cause this.
My best advice would be to log into a windows community, and see it they have a solution. I do not -Except
You could BACKUP your own stuff, and reinstall, with the default folders and the correct VST-instrument location. I actually think that is the smart thing to do
