static with lmms 1.0.0

Using v1.0.0 for two months now, but it kind of gets static momentarily such that everything is completely off beat. what could the problem. Using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
Any suggestions highly awaited for

You have artefact's?

Eg: it is some kind of 'lag' ?
Is it all all instruments, or something specific - like a vst?
If you can upload a sound-file, (soundcloud/ youtube, LSP ) it may be a help

Not quite sure what you mean, but you could try typing

sudo alsa reload

into the Terminal.
