Alter/Ego not loading

Hi. I've been using LMMS for a while and usually don't have trouble loading in VSTs. But when I try loading in Alter/Ego (voice synthesizer by Plogue) VeSTige just...doesn't load anything. I've tried doing it the usual way by clicking on the green folder and opening up the .dll, as well as the .exe. I've also tried drag and dropping the .dll onto the song editor through the "My Computer" tab. Neither of these have worked. I've gone through a few more threads and the solutions I've tried so far are:

So far I've tried the solutions in this thread (changing the .lmmsrc.xml, restarting my computer) and this thread (uninstalling my antivirus.) Neither one has worked so far.

I'm using LMMS 1.2.0 on Windows 10. Here's a screen recording I took of me trying to load Alter/Ego.

Lets start from the back :)

I'm using LMMS 1.2.0 on Windows 10.

1.2.0 is old, and has inferior support for namely VSTs
I recommend you to upgrade!
Follow this guide:

Then retry

Wont work, that is for opening outside lmms as a stand-a-lone
