strange VST loading error with ONE VST

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
Hi people. :)

I have just recently restored Windows XP onto a Dell Mini 910, and have been trying ot get a guitar amp setup working. But, I can't for some reason load a VST I transferred off another computer; (It's Heptode's Deep Crunch stomp box) It fails to load in any VST host, and upon trying to use regsvr32 on it, I got this:

"LoadLibrary("C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins\Deep Crunch.dll") failed- This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem"

HOW THE HECK ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO REINSTALL A VST?! I seriously need a fix for this quick, otherwise I won't have a virtual stomp box for my guitar setup... :(

Another note; Heptode Heavy Tone also fails to load with the same error, my others all load fine. And it ONLY occurs on this Dell Mini 9! :'(

:p through the installer that propl. was part of the package
Synth1 is also a vst, and that has to be installed too.
What you need is to dl the orr. 'Heptode's Deep Crunch stomp box' from a secure source. It is most likely an .exe
OR
scan the pc where you had this installed already.
Find the folder where the 'dependent' file (propl just settings) are kept, and copy the whole folder to your dell, in the same os pos
I would not be surprised if that works. (it wont if reg-db is in play..)
There is a really annoying belief in some software devs, that if they ship as .exe, they look much more 'profsy' than if the files are in a zip, perhaps this is such a case..

(i may get a lot of flack for that sentence..:)
