UI scaling support for UHD + 4k displays

I recently upgraded to a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 which has an "Ultra High Definition" 4k built in display. This means that for many programs the UI is teeny tiny. I know this is a tough problem to solve as it requires changing the absolute size value of every element in the UI to a relative size value but I hope it can be taken into consideration for future revisions. These displays are only gaining in popularity. For the meantime, I use an external 1080 display.

The UI resolution scaling issue is one that affects all types and categories of software. UI designers and programmers are pulling their hair out trying to make their software support multiple resolutions, or just have outright given up on the issue. Sometimes a software has a normal version and a separate HD version. Understand that this is no small issue. Even commercial professional software companies are struggling with this.
Apart from changing the screen resolution each time before you use LMMS, you can also use Windows Magnifier or some software that offers the flexibility to zoom in and out whenever/wherever you want.

What worked for me is if you right click on the desktop shortcut for LMMS and go to properties > compatibility > check the box for "Override High DPI Scaling Behavior" > in the drop down box just below select "System/System (enhanced)". That should do the trick.
