Project wont open in LMMS

For some reason my project that I have been working on wont open. I havent used any plug-ins, only sounds from LMMS. I'm using a macbook pro, everytime I try to open the project the little rainbow spinny wheel jus tpops up and wont go away.

BUT listen
If you have saved the project you should have a .BAK file
Also, look for a file named 'recover'
If you have such a file, rename it and put that file with your failing project-file in a zip, and upload it
